Patton Kizzire made an eagle, two birdies and three bogeys to sign for a 70 and win his third PGA Tour title at the Procore Championship by five shots, ending a winless drought that had lasted 6 years, 8 months and 1 day (176 starts).

“I was trying not to get ahead of myself today. I knew that it would be difficult not to get ahead of myself with a four-shot lead heading into today. I wrote down in my yardage book, “I am here, I am now.” I kept going back to that and that helped me be disciplined and stay present. That was something that just kept going back to and that’s what really helped me come out on top.”

The American was playing in his 242nd start and added a third top-10 to his season following the Barracuda Championship (T8) and Myrtle Beach Classic (T10).

Kizzire started the event 13nd in the standings and needed to reach the top-125 to earn his Tour card, he is now qualified for the next two years and has earned spots at the Masters, PGA Championships and the Sentry at Kapalua.

American David Lipsky finishes a career-best runner-up for the first time in 105 starts after closing with a 71 to reach 15-under.

“It was really tough out there, the wind was swirling and it was strong and the greens were so firm,” said Lipsky. “Where they put some of those pins is really tough to get close.

“I’m in a good spot to keep my card. It is where I’ve always dreamed of playing. I was pretty depressed through the middle of the season with my game and I couldn’t be happier right now, it means the world to me.”

Patrick Fishburn, also of the USA, shot 71 to reach 14-under and finished in solo-third place for the second time in his last four starts.

Canadians Ben Silverman and Mackenzie Hughes shot rounds of 71 and 72 respectively for a share of fourth place at 13-under alongside American Greyson Sigg who closed with a 72.

FedExCup Fall Notes

Nos. 1-50 in the FedExCup standings through the Tour Championship are locked in their positions while Nos. 51 and beyond carry their FedExCup points into the Fall; Nos. 51-60 through the FedExCup Fall will qualify for two Signature Events in 2024: AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and The Genesis Invitational.

No players moved into Nos. 51-60 this week.

The Top 125 will be exempt into all Full-Field events and The Players next season and Nos. 126-150 will earn full Korn
Ferry Tour status and conditional status on Tour.

from No. 163 to No. 101), Greyson Sigg (T4; from No. 130 to No. 112).
