Scottsdale Golf and The Loop Launch SGTV YouTube Show

Scottsdale Golf has launched SGTV, a new fortnightly YouTube series offering behind-the-scenes access to golf equipment brands, expert insight and integrated retail features for modern golfers.

Scottsdale Golf launches SGTV after partnering with creative golf agency The Loop to introduce a new long-form YouTube series designed to give golfers deeper insight into the equipment, innovation and people shaping the modern game.

The fortnightly show has been developed to provide greater depth than traditional product-led content, combining storytelling with behind-the-scenes access to some of golf’s most influential brands. The series focuses on how modern equipment is designed, engineered and brought to market, alongside the technology that underpins performance.

The launch comes at a time when golf’s move towards YouTube continues to accelerate, with players and brands increasingly using the platform to offer greater transparency and insight. That shift has been underlined recently by Tommy Fleetwood, who has used his own YouTube channel to reveal true yardages and behind-the-scenes detail from life on tour.

Lee Duff, CEO of Scottsdale Golf, said:

“We are incredibly excited to launch SGTV and bring something genuinely innovative to the golf media space.

“Golfers are more informed and more curious about equipment than ever before, and this series allows us to deliver the access, expertise and production quality that golfers deserve.

“Partnering with The Loop ensures we can tell these stories in a way that is both entertaining and insightful.”

Global Production Led from Scottsdale Birmingham

Based out of Scottsdale Birmingham, the series will also see presenters Sam Jones and Alysia Patel travel internationally to cover key industry stories. Content will range from innovation centres and tour environments to product launches and fitting studios, offering viewers a broader view of the equipment landscape.

The series has been structured with the contemporary golfer in mind. Integrated shoppable links within each episode allow viewers to purchase featured products through the Scottsdale website or book a custom-fitting at one of the retailer’s specialist locations, reflecting a growing trend as Scottsdale Golf launches SGTV with content and commerce working closely together.

Episode One Sets the Tone for the SGTV Golf Show

The opening episode features coverage of new releases from Ping and Under Armour, alongside a driver custom-fitting session with guest Gaz Beadle. The episode provides insight into Scottsdale’s five-star fitting process and includes commentary from brand and fitting specialists.

Mike Harris, Partner at The Loop, added:

“Storytelling sits at the absolute heart of everything we do at The Loop. Working with a partner in Scottsdale that not only shares that belief but also has an audience capable of superpowering that storytelling is hugely exciting.

“SGTV gives us a platform to shine a light on the craftsmanship, innovation and personalities that make the golf industry so fascinating.”

Extended Long-Form Content Beyond the Main SGTV Episodes

In addition to the main fortnightly episodes, the channel will also host extended long-form discussions with designers, engineers and brand leaders. These conversations are intended to provide further context around product development and performance trends within the game.
