Thorbjørn Olesen started the day three shots behind the lead but carded a flawless 64 on Moving Day to take a two-shot lead at 18-under in the Thailand Classic.

The Dane’s recent form has been good having finished in the top 20 in his all three of his starts this year. A win on Sunday would be his seventh DP World Tour title.
“I think overall it was a pretty good round.
“I didn’t get in a lot of trouble and at some of the par fours and par fives I hit it pretty close and could two-putt for birdie.
“I made it fairly easy today for myself, which is nice. It’s not always like that.”
Conditions on the floating 17th green were such that a local rule was in place allowing the use of rangefinders.

Germany’s Yannik Paul (66) and fellow Dane Nicolai Højgaard (64) are tied in second place at 16-under followed by the Netherlands’ Joost Luiten (65) in fourth at 15-under.
England’s Dale Whitnell carded a bogey-free 67 for a share of fifth place at 14-under alongside South Korea‘s Jeunghun Wang (67) and Japan‘s Kazuki Higa (68).
