Six years later, Robert Streb has won the RSM Classic in a playoff for the second time after closing with a 68 for a 19-under 263.

“It was a little squirrelly there for a little while. I thought I got it righted pretty good yesterday and then just kind of lost it for a little while today. Fortunately, scrambled well enough to have a chance there at the end,” said Streb.

“It's really nice to say I've got more than one. Winning more than once validates what ability you have. It was just kind of unexpected and super nice to get.”

Streb started the day with a 3-shot lead but lost it after making only two birdies on the front nine then bogeying the 13th before another birdie on the 17th got him back to 2-under to force the playoff.

Kevin Kisner in contrast started his round five shots behind Streb and made seven birdies to finish with a 63 and a chance at winning his second title at Sea Island.

“I figured the number would be 19 or 20 (under) to start the day and to be able to get there was a good round," said Kisner. "I made one bogey in 74 holes, which is a hell of a golf I played for four days.”

Kisner had a chance for birdie on the first extra hole when his approach left him a 15-foot birdie putt while Streb found the bunker and his pitch came up eight feet short.

Kisner missed his putt and Streb sank his for par before Streb made birdie on the second while Kisner could only par.
