Sebastian Söderberg started the day at 15-under and made his first bogey of the tournament at the par-3 14th but will still take an 8-shot lead at 21-under into the final day of the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed after closing with a 66.
“It was all-around super solid,” said the Swede. “Still a lot of good shots and a lot of good putts, so I’ve got nothing to complain about.
“I’ve got so many friends and family here. It might not look like I’m taking it all in but I do. I’ve just been good at staying in my zone, my bubble so far. And that’s what I’ve got to continue to do tomorrow.”
“Mistakes are going to happen but as long as I don’t get rattled and just stick to my game plan, hopefully I’ll be all right.”
Scot Calum Hill signed for a 67 to move into second place at 13-under followed in third at 12-under by England’s Alice Hewson (67), Spain’s Santiago Tarrio (65) and Sweden’s Alexander Björk (68).
Scotland’s Scott Jamieson started the day in second place but made two bogeys and a single birdie for a 73 and slipped down into a five-way tie for sixth place at 11-under alongside England’s Andy Sullivan (67).
The Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed field comprised 78 men and 78 women playing in the same groups for one prize fund and one trophy.
