Nacho Elvira carded a second consecutive bogey-free 64 to reach 14-under and take a one shot lead into the weekend at the Soudal Open in Belgium.
“It was quite similar to yesterday, I played consistent and putted really well, extremely happy,” said the Spaniard.
“It’s a course I like, it suits my eye off the tee a bit better than other courses. And I’m lucky enough to be putting well, so hopefully I can take advantage of that.
“Thank God it’s not raining and windy, it’s only raining. It’s not pleasant to be playing under the rain… I’m happy to be done.”
England’s Ross Fisher who has also yet to make a bogey shot a 63 and lies in second place at 13-under with France’s Romain Langasque a further two shots behind after a bogey-free 67.
Overnight leader Sam Jones of New Zealand followed up his opening 62 with a 70 and lies in a share of fourth place at 10-under alongside Canada’s Aaron Cockerill who carded a 66, Denmark’s Niklas Norgaard and England’s Andrew Wilson who both shot bogey-free 68s.
