Play has been suspended at Wentworth during round two of the BMW PGA Championship due to a threat of lightning.
With the majority of the afternoon groups yet to head out, the delay looks to last for at least an hour as stormy weather makes headway from the south coast.
Leader Matthew Baldwin headed back to the clubhouse at 12-under through 16, while Thriston Lawrence, Billy Horschel and Andy Sullivan trail by four shots at 4-under.
Englishman Aaron Rai joins Antoine Rozner and Tommy Fleetwood at 7-under, with Marcus Armitage, Dan Bradbury and Joe Dean at 6-under.
Some of the big names yet to tee off for the second round include Rory McIlroy (-5), Shane Lowry (-5), Robert McIntyre (-5), and Justin Rose (-3).
With lightening strikes being recorded in Surrey and West London, the DP World Tour has preemptively called play to a halt, for the safety of players and fans alike. And, although the sun is shining through, there will be no golf played until further notice.
