Ryder Cup stars and Rolex Series winners Matt Fitzpatrick, Tyrrell Hatton, and Robert MacIntyre are confirmed for the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, taking place from 6–9 November at Yas Links. They’ll join reigning Masters Champion and career Grand Slam winner Rory McIlroy in a world-class field for the first event of the DP World Tour Play-Offs on Yas Island.
All four were key players in Europe’s 16½–11½ victory over the U.S. at the 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome, and they’ll be back on the course to defend Europe’s trophy at Bethpage Black next week.
World Number Nine MacIntyre has enjoyed a stellar season, finishing second at the U.S. Open at Oakmont, runner-up at the BMW Championship, and tied seventh at The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush.
“I really enjoy finishing the season in the Middle East and can’t wait to return to Abu Dhabi,” said MacIntyre. “With some good memories at Yas Links, I’m hoping to keep the momentum going and end the season on a high.”

Hatton, who won the Abu Dhabi Championship in 2019, returns after finishing runner-up at Yas Links last year. Currently fourth in the Race to Dubai Rankings, he’s also a winner of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic and tied fourth at this year’s U.S. Open.
“Yas Island is such an incredible destination, with so much to see and do,” said Hatton. “The tournament always has a fantastic atmosphere—I’m excited to get back and kick off the Play-Offs.”

Fitzpatrick, the 2022 U.S. Open Champion, has had a consistent 2025 with six top-ten finishes, including a tied fourth at The Open in Northern Ireland. The nine-time DP World Tour winner is aiming to add another Rolex Series title as the Play-Offs begin.
“Abu Dhabi is always a great place to play,” he said. “I hope to carry my recent form through and finish the season strong.”

The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, staged by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and DP World Tour, kicks off the end-of-season Play-Offs and leads straight into the DP World Tour Championship, where the Race to Dubai champion will be crowned. The top 70 available players after the Back 9 events will gather at Yas Links for the fourth Rolex Series event of the year.
Returning for its 20th edition in 2025, the Championship offers plenty for fans. General admission is free for the first two days, with tickets starting at AED 75 for the final two days (a 25% promotional discount). For a premium experience, the popular Bar on Nine Ticket+ option is available from AED 230, including an AED 100 food and drink voucher.
And, for those wanting the ultimate view, the Championship Chalet on the 18th green provides five-star hospitality, a shaded balcony, and panoramic views of the action. Prices start at AED 1,680.
