For the second time this month the stars of SkyCaddie’s 2021 GPS range have picked up prestigious golf magazine awards – and for the fifth successive year, the SkyTrak launch monitor & golf simulator has also picked up a prestigious media award.

SkyTrak and SkyCaddie win again

The SkyTrak has been awarded Editor’s Choice (Technology) in this year’s Golf Monthly Editor’s Choice awards – the second year in a row that SkyTrak has earnt this accolade.

And SkyCaddie’s peerless LX5C Ceramic Bezel GPS Smart Watch was also awarded 2021 Editor’s Choice (GPS/Laser) in the latest issue of Golf Monthly, adding to the similar award it received from the editors at Today’s Golfer earlier this month.

In its Awards editorial about SkyTrak, Golf Monthly said: “SkyTrak affords golfers the opportunity to practise from home without having to fork out their life savings”.

“The SkyTrak keeps winning awards because, quite simply, it delivers accurate ball-flight data at an amazing price” said SkyCaddie and SkyTrak Europe General Manager, James Holmes. “Since it launched in 2015, SkyTrak has given golfers and PGA coaches millions of swings’ worth of data, reliably and instantly, and it keeps getting better with new software features and downloads.”

“SkyTrak’s £1,995 price point also means that thousands of customers have been able to invest more of their money in other areas of their indoor swing studio” he said.

Golf Monthly selected the SkyCaddie LX5C as a highlight in its 2021 Awards editorial, picking out its advanced IntelliGreen Pro and Dynamic HoleVue features for special mention, emphatically saying that “it’s going to help golfers to save shots”. The LX5C was also praised for its “stunning graphic views of the hole ahead”.

“The SkyCaddie LX5C shows what’s possible for modern wearable GPS technology” said James Holmes. “It is the closest that golf watches have yet come to having a full-featured GPS handheld on your wrist.

“The LX5C and LX5 have the largest, most brilliant HD screens yet seen on a golf GPS watch, plus SkyCaddie’s incredible distance-management features, and the sport’s only on-foot-mapped yardage data pre-loaded for over 35,000 golf courses.

“We think it’s an unbeatable proposition in 2021 – and it’s great to know that both Golf Monthly and Today’s Golfer think so too!”

SkyCaddie’s on-foot course mapping team have already updated the maps for over 200 UK golf courses since the end of last season.
