“I made a few more putts today. I putted decent on Thursday but I putted well today, so there was the four shots.”
Sharing the lead is Norway’s Viktor Hovland who carded a 68 after dropping his first shot of the week at the par-4 15th.
“My irons have been really good this week. I think I’ve only missed a handful of greens in total for the two rounds, and that obviously alleviates a lot of pressure.
“I still feel like I haven’t driven it the best but I keep giving myself looks and I frankly just haven’t made too many putts either. But yeah, it’s been really solid tee-to-green.”
Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy lies one shot behind at 11-under after tying his lowest round at Wentworth. Spain’s Rafa Cabrera Bello and Belgium’s Thomas Detry share third place with McIlroy after all three carded 65s.
