Danielle Kang, Lily May Humprehys, Tian Xiaolin and amateur Kyo Ho Lee have triumphed at the Aramco Team Series in South Korea.
Despite a difficult first day, Team Kang shot up the leaderboard in the second round with a sensational 16-under-par to take a three-shot lead.
However, celebrations were put on hold as the forecasted rain swept the course in the afternoon, bringing play to an early end on day two.
Action resumed at 6.45am this morning but the remaining groups were unable to pose a threat, with Team Gustavvson finishing solo second at 21 under.
“I had some of the best teammates,” said Kang after her round. “I mean, we had spirit we had good play, and our amateur crushed it today.
“It’s just been a really good bonding experience, and all I cared about was just trying to win the team event this week.”
Kang said she felt lighter coming into the event after a difficult spell on the LPGA.
“I haven’t been happy competing in a long, long time. However, this week doesn’t feel like work to me, and I think that’s what I’ve missed.”
In the individual, Hyo-Joo Kim came out firing when play resumed with three birdies in five holes to climb above Columbian Mariajo Uribe, turning a one-shot deficit into a two-shot lead.
Elsewhere, Charley Hull posted three-under in the second round to secure a spot in the final three-ball, trailing Kim by three.
With the sun shining once again in South Korea, the stage is set for a Seoul showdown at the spectacular New Korea Country Club.
