One of Tuscany’s most luxurious golfing destinations, the Argentario Golf Resort & Spa in the Maremma region of Tuscany, is set to reopen its doors on June 1st, 2021, and to welcome guests in complete safety. 

The 73 rooms and suites and its collection of sumptuous villas will be available and prepared according to all the necessary sanitation protocols with both staff and guests checked upon arrival at the facility and monitored during their stay to ensure everyone’s protection.  

The expansive and high-ceilinged common areas, terraces and restaurants will allow guests to enjoy all the facilities that the Resort offers whilst maintaining a safe and comfortable distance from others.

The 18-hole PGA National Italy championship golf course, the Club House, the driving range and other practice facilities, the two padel courts, the two tennis courts, the five-a-side football pitch and the outdoor swimming pools, as well as the two jogging paths, will all be available to enjoy alongside a restorative stay immersed in the surrounding nature and comfort of the Resort.

Guests will also have the chance to spend the day relaxing by the Tyrrhenian Sea making use of the Resort’s reserved spaces at the nearby Il Tramonto Beach Club on the beautiful Giannella beach, just a few minutes from the Resort, using a dedicated shuttle service.

The Wellness Centre will be available to guests according to the government rules and regulations in force. This includes private cabins for face and single body treatments, an indoor pool, Kneipp path, thalassotherapy, hydromassage areas, and a gym with Technogym cardio and weightlifting equipment, and areas for CrossFit and functional gymnastics.

Residents will have the choice of dining at the Resort’s two restaurants; the Club House Restaurant which is always open for a snack, a quick lunch, an aperitif or an informal dinner whilst the Dama Dama Restaurant is where chef Emiliano Lombardelli delights guests with his gourmet cuisine that is full of local flavours and twists on traditional favourite recipes.

  1. The Argentario team receives continuous directives and updated operating protocols
  2. The Resort has increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing services in common areas and rooms
  3. Guests will find at their disposal disinfectant gel dispensers and kits with mask & mini sanitiser gel
  4. The Resort will continue to apply the latest safety and hygiene precautions in its restaurant services, sport facilities and wellness centre
  5. In addition to these measures, Argentario encourages guests to find additional information on travel safety. The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued numerous recommendations to reduce exposure to a range of diseases, including hand and respiratory hygiene and food safety measures.
