Today, COBRA PUMA GOLF announced a partnership with Ladies European Tour player, broadcaster and social media influencer Inci Mehmet that will see her playing COBRA golf clubs through the bag and wearing PUMA Golf Ladies apparel, footwear and accessories head to toe on the course for the 2021 season. Mehmet will play a mixture of RADSPEED and KING golf clubs and wear pieces from the brandโ€™s latest SSโ€™21 ladies Collection. Inci will join COBRA PUMA GOLF female athlete/ambassadors Lexi Thompson, Olivia Cowan and Leona Maguire.

Inci will play a full bag of COBRA clubs including the latest RADSPEED metals. COBRA recently introduced its highly anticipated 2021 family of RADSPEED Drivers, Fairways and Hybrids. With a name inspired by its key, innovative technology, Radial Weighting, the entire line is aimed at maximizing performance for the full spectrum of players through optimized weighting and an array of advanced technologies.

PUMA Golf is a brand that pushes the limits, boundaries and culture with its DNA in sports. The SSโ€™21 collection includes some truly innovative technologies in the form of CLOUDSPUN and the new MATTR technology in the apparel. Coupled with the highly popular RSG footwear and the new IGNITE Blaze pro ladies spiked shoes.

โ€œAt COBRA PUMA Golf our goal is to align with athletes and ambassadors who are not only talented golfers but are also engaging and authentic on and off the course. In addition to her engaging personality, Inci is known for her style both on and off the course, and comes off the back of a successful 2020 participating in the Rose Ladies series, weโ€™re excited to work with Inci, as she looks ahead to a busy 2021 both on course, and in front of the camera in her media career, Welcome to to the team Inciโ€. Said Joe Folker, Brand Experience Manager, COBRA PUMA Golf.

A prolific junior, Inci was awarded a scholarship to the coveted Wentworth club of which she became the youngest ever ladies club champion at 15 years old. Inci was then awarded the Duke of York Scholarship later at Wellington College which prepared her to then secure her full playing rights onto the Ladies European Tour, finishing 12th as the top British qualifier that year aged just 20. Since then, Inci has enjoyed a fruitful start to her playing career retaining her playing rights, simultaneously, flourishing on Sky Sports as a coaching analyst as well as building her social media platforms. Inci also comes off the back of a successful 2020 participating in the Rose Ladies series and now preparing harder than ever for her most successful year on tour yet.

On signing for COBRA PUMA GOLF, Inci Mehmet commented- โ€œIโ€™m really proud to be partnering up with COBRA PUMA GOLF.

PUMA are passionate in sharing my enthusiasm for the game, striving for excellence and fully supporting my beliefs, goals and ambitions. They are willing to explore boundaries and I think the apparel and footwear speaks for itself with regards to what Puma stands for โ€ฆ all things fun, bright, cool and modern without losing anything from a quality and performance perspective. That really excites me!โ€

She continued โ€œIโ€™m equally excited to begin using the new Cobra equipment throughout my bag. Initial testing has been throwing up some great results and I canโ€™t wait to get the clubs in play at tournaments this year!โ€

Rob Jarvis, Senior Client Manager WASSERMAN: โ€œInci and COBRA PUMA GOLF share some fantastic qualities and values. Iโ€™m really pleased that an opportunity such as this has come along for Inci because she is a dedicated, hard-working professional that commits 110% to everything that she does, as well as being an absolute joy to be around, she completely deserves it.
