Location
Situated on the edge of the Mid Wales town, Aberystwyth Golf Course is framed by the picturesque views of the town centre, the coastline of Cardigan bay, and the Welsh countryside.
Course Designer
Golf was first played at Aberystwyth Golf Club on Coronation Day 1911. The full golf course was officially opened in the summer two years later after the completion of the 5th and 6th holes. The official opening took place with the staging of an exhibition match involving the French champion George Duncan and other professionals.
