Location
Situated 8 miles from Dalbeattie, 22 miles from Dumfries (via the coast road) and slightly more from Dumfries via Dalbeattie.
Directions:
From the South use the A75 Gretna to Stranraer Road and turn left at Dumfries, following the signs for the Solway Coast. From the North use either the A77 from the west side of the country (thereafter A75 and then follow the signs for Solway Coast and Dalbeattie) and the A74(M) from the central areas (thereafter A701 Dumfries follow the signs for Solway Coast and Dalbeattie).
