Frederic Lacroix wins maiden title by four shots

Frederic Lacroix closed with a bogey-free 65 to win his maiden DP World Tour title by four shots at the Danish Golf Championship.

The Frenchman graduated from the European Challenge Tour last year and has now recorded five top-five finishes on the DP World Tour.

“It’s hard to realise yet,” said Lacroix. “It’s going to come a bit later but I’m just happy to have a good round.

“I’ve been close a few times, especially this year, and I’ve just been improving the last few years, slowly but steadily.

“I just kept doing my thing and it’s nice to see it all coming together with a win today.”

Compatriot Romain Langasque signed for a 71 for a share of second place at 10-under alongside Dane Lucas Bjerregaard who suffered from a double bogey at the par-4 8th and closed with a 73.

France’s David Ravetto finished fourth at 9-under after a final-round 67, one ahead of another Frenchman, Adrien Saddier, who signed for a 70 to finish in a five-way tie for fifth place at 8-under.
