Ecco Golf Launches BIOM C5: Comfort, Control and All-Weather Performance

Ecco Golf launches the BIOM C5, a modern performance shoe uniting Scandinavian craftsmanship with advanced comfort and control.

They say when you know, you know. That was certainly the case when I pulled on the Ecco BIOM C5 at the PGA Show in Orlando, no break-in doubts, no second guesses. Just straightaway comfort.

Built on the brand’s long-standing BIOM® NATURAL MOTION® philosophy, the C5 takes what worked and has refined it for the modern game. It’s lightweight, athletic and designed to move with you, from the first tee to the last putt.

ECCO BIOM C5 with BOA

At its core is the anatomical BIOM construction, shaped to follow the natural contours of the foot, right down to the underfoot. The idea is simple: when your foot moves naturally, everything else flows better, too. Less fatigue. More stability. And a bit more zip through the ball when you need it.

The upper blends Ecco Performance Leather, crafted in Ecco’s own tanneries, with a lightweight engineered mesh. The result is a contemporary, sporty look that doesn’t compromise on durability. The leather delivers structure and easy upkeep, while the mesh collar keeps things breathable and comfortable over 18 holes and beyond.

Weather-wise, it’s fully armed. GORE-TEX Surround® technology provides waterproof protection with 360-degree breathability, while the Ecco exhaust grid channels fresh air underfoot. Dry when it’s wet. Cool when it’s warm. Ideal adaptability.

Underneath, the new E-TTS outsole does the heavy lifting. Multi-directional traction and a stable platform give you the grip and balance to commit to every swing, whether you’re going flat-out with the driver or feathering in a wedge.

Comfort comes courtesy of Ecco’s FLUIDFORM™ Direct Comfort Technology, creating a soft, flexible and durable foundation that mirrors the foot’s natural shape. The anatomical midsole adds cushioning and energy return where it matters most, making the transition from course to clubhouse feel seamless.

Timo Vollrath, Head of Global Marketing at Ecco Golf, said:

“BIOM C5 represents the latest evolution of our signature BIOM technology – a perfect balance of innovation, performance and Scandinavian craftsmanship. It’s built for golfers who expect lightweight comfort without compromising on control or protection. From its breathable GORE-TEX Surround construction to the all-new E-TTS outsole, every element has been carefully engineered to help golfers play naturally and perform at their best.”

The BIOM C5 comes in both traditional lace and BOA® Fit System options. The BOA® model offers micro-adjustable precision and a secure, dialled-in feel, while the lace version keeps things classic without sacrificing modern performance.

Designed to handle every condition and every corner of the course, the BIOM C5 feels like a natural next step in Ecco Golf’s evolution, blending Scandinavian craftsmanship with performance tech that genuinely earns its place.
