How many eagles and birdies does Tiger Woods make?

<div class="article"><p><strong>How many eagles and birdies does Tiger Woods make?</strong></p><p>The simple answer is - a lot, as these figures, compiled from his official PGA Tour record, will confirm.</p><p>But, for the eagles at least, perhaps not quite as many as you imagine, given those booming drives and his often radar-like putting. In his best eagle season he made 19; in his least prolific year, just 4. Perhaps it just seems like more, because they stick in our minds.</p><p>His birdie record is quite specatular, however. Never worse than third on Tour in birdies per round in the seven years the ranking has been published, and a career average of nearly 4&frac12; birdies per round. </p><div class="golfing_terms"><div class="table-responsive"><table class="toursutils"> <tr> <td></td> <td>Holes</td> <td>Eagles</td> <td>Holes/<br /> eagle</td> <td>Rank</td> <td>Rounds</td> <td>Birdies</td> <td>Birdies/<br /> round</td> <td>Rank</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Total </td> <td>16 092 </td> <td>155 </td> <td>103.82 </td> <td></td> <td>898 </td> <td>3 898 </td> <td>4.34 </td> <td></td> </tr> <tr> <td>2010 </td> <td></td> <td></td> <td></td> <td></td> <td></td> <td></td> <td></td> <td></td> </tr> <tr> <td>2009 </td> <td>1 116 </td> <td>10 </td> <td>111.60 </td> <td>7 </td> <td>62 </td> <td>257 </td> <td>4.15 </td> <td>1 </td> </tr> <tr> <td>2008 </td> <td>360 </td> <td>6 </td> <td>60.00 </td> <td>1 </td> <td>20 </td> <td>82 </td> <td>4.10 </td> <td>2 </td> </tr> <tr> <td>2007 </td> <td>1 080 </td> <td>11 </td> <td>98.18 </td> <td>2 </td> <td>60 </td> <td>242 </td> <td>4.03 </td> <td>1 </td> </tr> <tr> <td>2006 </td> <td>936 </td> <td>12 </td> <td>78.00 </td> <td>2 </td> <td>52 </td> <td>242 </td> <td>4.65 </td> <td>1 </td> </tr> <tr> <td>2005 </td> <td>1 332 </td> <td>10 </td> <td>133.20 </td> <td>16 </td> <td>74 </td> <td>338 </td> <td>4.57 </td> <td>1 </td> </tr> <tr> <td>2004 </td> <td>1 296 </td> <td>4 </td> <td>324.00 </td> <td>141 </td> <td>72 </td> <td>315 </td> <td>4.38 </td> <td>2 </td> </tr> <tr> <td>2003 </td> <td>1 224 </td> <td>16 </td> <td>76.50 </td> <td>1 </td> <td>68 </td> <td>290 </td> <td>4.26 </td> <td>3 </td> </tr> <tr> <td>2002 </td> <td>1 224 </td> <td>6 </td> <td>204.00 </td> <td>na </td> <td>68 </td> <td>304 </td> <td>4.47 </td> <td>na </td> </tr> <tr> <td>2001 </td> <td>1 368 </td> <td>14 </td> <td>97.71 </td> <td>na </td> <td>76 </td> <td>327 </td> <td>4.30 </td> <td>na </td> </tr> <tr> <td>2000 </td> <td>1 368 </td> <td>19 </td> <td>72.00 </td> <td>na </td> <td>76 </td> <td>374 </td> <td>4.92 </td> <td>na </td> </tr> <tr> <td>1999 </td> <td>1 278 </td> <td>9 </td> <td>142.00 </td> <td>na </td> <td>75 </td> <td>317 </td> <td>4.23 </td> <td>na </td> </tr> <tr> <td>1998 </td> <td>1 314 </td> <td>11 </td> <td>119.45 </td> <td>na </td> <td>73 </td> <td>281 </td> <td>3.85 </td> <td>na </td> </tr> <tr> <td>1997 </td> <td>1 458 </td> <td>14 </td> <td>104.14 </td> <td>na </td> <td>81 </td> <td>344 </td> <td>4.25 </td> <td>na </td> </tr> <tr> <td>1996 </td> <td>738 </td> <td>13 </td> <td>56.77 </td> <td>na </td> <td>41 </td> <td>185 </td> <td>4.51 </td> <td>na </td> </tr> </table></div></div><p>Find more Tiger Woods statistics <a href="/tours/records/tiger_woods.html" class="Normal_Link">here</a>.</p><p>November 2010</p><p><img src="https://golftoday.co.uk/content/uploads/2018/01/thin_green_line.gif" width="494" height="20" /></p></div>
