Motocaddy has been named headline sponsor of the Motocaddy Championship at Bishop’s Stortford Golf Club, which runs from 10-12 June on the Clutch Pro Tour Tier 1 schedule. The event is the electric trolley brand’s second title sponsorship on the tour this season and carries a £50,000 prize fund.

The partnership is part of Motocaddy’s season-long role as the “Official Trolley & Laser” partner to the Clutch Pro Tour, a development circuit for emerging professional golfers. The company said its involvement includes branding, product integration and event activation across the calendar.

Local Venue

Bishop’s Stortford Golf Club sits just three miles from Motocaddy’s headquarters in Start Hill, and the company said the club has long been used for product testing and photoshoots. This is the first time the venue has hosted a Clutch Pro Tour event.

“We’re delighted to host the Motocaddy Championship at a venue which feels like a second home for the brand,”

Commented Oliver Churcher, Marketing Director at Motocaddy.

The course itself is a traditional parkland par-70 layout measuring 6,404 yards from the championship tees.

Field

A field of 160 players will compete over the three days, headed by Motocaddy brand ambassador OJ Farrell. Farrell is the current Order of Merit leader after winning the Motocaddy Masters at Heythrop Park in April, where he finished at 14-under par after rounds of 67, 69 and 66, taking the title by one stroke.

Several other Motocaddy ambassadors are in the field, including five players currently ranked inside the top 20 on the season-long Order of Merit. Churcher said the brand was looking to build on the momentum generated by Farrell’s win at Heythrop Park.

Prizes

In addition to the £50,000 prize fund, the tournament winner will receive a 2026 M7 REMOTE electric trolley worth £1,299.99. The runner-up takes home a 2026 M1 electric trolley, while third place earns a compact-folding QB2 push trolley. A PRO 5000 Laser will also be awarded as a spot prize.

A Pro-Am precedes the main event, with Motocaddy prizes for participants.

Schedule

The Motocaddy Championship begins on 10 June, with the final round scheduled for 12 June. Live scoring and leaderboard updates will be available through the Clutch Pro Tour platform.
