Pablo Larrazábal defeated fellow Spaniard Adri Arnaus and Englishman Jordan Smith in a playoff for the MyGolfLife Open hosted by Pecanwood.

"What a day," said Larrazábal . "I felt great this morning. It was one of those days where you just feel great and you know you’re going to have a chance. I started fast to get into the lead very quick."
Having finished outside the top 100 on the DP World Tour Rankings last year for the first time since joining the Tour in 2007, this sixth win places Larrazábal back inside the top-10.

Larrazábal and Arnaus carded final round 67s to close with a 22-under, 266 total while Smith joined them in the playoff after closing with a bogey-free 65.
South African George Coetzee signed for a flawless 64 to take fourth place at 21-under followed one-shot behind by compatriot Richard Sterne who closed with a 69.

Overnight leader Hennie du Plessis who started the day with a two-shot lead carded a 72 and finished tied for sixth place at 19-under ongside Spain's Nacho Elvira (70) and England's Ross Fisher (68).
