Pitch, the innovative indoor golf club, has announced plans to expand with four new venues in the UK and Ireland, solidifying its reputation as the premier destination for indoor golf enthusiasts.

As part of its mission to make golf more accessible and diverse, the expansion will include a third London location at Canary Wharf, along with new sites in Manchester, Birmingham, and Dublin.

The company also has plans for sites in Brighton and another in London, with international ambitions stretching as far as Melbourne, Australia, where growth in a younger demographic taking up the game continues to rise.

Pitch has rapidly earned a reputation as the ultimate indoor venue for golfers of all levels. From novices to experienced players, everyone can benefit from the club’s chic layout and the expertise of onsite PGA Professionals.

The club also caters to corporate bookings and regular visitors, offering a stylish layout and relaxed atmosphere.

Recent studies highlight a surge in ‘off-course’ engagement, with indoor golf clubs attracting urban dwellers who appreciate the convenience of fitting quick rounds of golf into their busy schedules.

Pitch venues provide a premium, non-traditional setting ideal for large corporate events and social gatherings away from the confines and regulations of a golf club.

Numerous multiplayer options allow participants to enjoy various game formats on virtual replicas of famous golf courses like Pebble Beach and St Andrews’ Old Course.

Pitch has also made strides in growing the game through initiatives like its academy for beginner women golfers — run in partnership with Adidas.

The program, now in its second year, received over 1,000 applicants for just 100 free coaching spots. Plans are in place to expand this initiative to the new venues.

With existing venues at Bishopsgate and Soho in London, Pitch is set to open its third site in London’s central business district, Canary Wharf in September.

This new location will feature cutting-edge Trackman technology, a licensed bar, gourmet dishes, and on-site DJs, creating a sophisticated and social environment to enjoy with friends and colleagues.

A highly premium area will be reserved for members, and the venue will also include a ‘TRENDYGOLF Concept Store’ stocked with popular brands such as J Lindeberg, Hugo Boss, and Ralph Lauren.

September will also see the opening of Pitch’s first international venue in Dublin, located on Grafton Street.

This site will feature 10 Trackman bays, a licensed bar with Japanese fusion dishes, PGA-level coaching, and custom club-fitting services, offering a modern twist on the traditional golf club experience for the modern player.

In November, Pitch will debut in Manchester’s Spinningfields district, a bustling area that attracts over 5.5 million visitors annually.

The final addition in this ‘quadruple’ expansion phase will be a Birmingham venue set to open in early 2025 at Snow Hill station, positioned to capitalise on the upcoming HS2 high-speed railway.

“This has been a major year for the development and story of Pitch” said co-founder and CEO Elliot Godfrey.

“Indoor golf has evolved hugely from its earliest days and we feel, at Pitch, that we offer so much more than just bays where people can hit golf balls. It is a place for social gatherings, and it is a way of playing and engaging with the game that is open to everyone.”

Co-founder Chris Ingham added: “Our vision is to put the club experience first to attract an audience beyond existing golfers, and these new venues will enhance what we have to offer and broaden the appeal of Pitch.

Our openings at Canary Wharf and Pitch Dublin are particularly exciting as we edge nearer to September, with construction well underway on these landmark developments. We can’t wait to open our first international venue in Dublin, which we believe will just be the start of our global expansion.”

Pitch offers both membership and casual bookings, with resident PGA Professionals available for coaching. Venues also feature resident DJs, lounges, contemporary food and beverage options, social spaces, and a golf fashion concept store in addition to the virtual golfing bays.
