February 25-28
Grand Reserve Country Club, Rio Grande, Puerto Rico
$3,000,000
Round 1, Round 2, Round 3

Branden Grace, who started his round one shot behind the leaders, made three birdies and stayed bogey-free, one of only two players in the top-10 to manage it on a windy day, before tying for the lead with an eagle at the 17th. He then birdied the 18th for his long-awaited second PGA Tour victory following the 2016 RBC Heritage.

It was an emotional day for Grace, who lost his father to Covid-19 in January

โ€œI thought about him a hell of a lot out there. The last tee shot, I was really struggling. I knew he was watching over me. I knew he was guiding me.โ€

โ€œIt's been a very tough couple of years and a tough couple of months and it's just nice to - obviously, with all the support back home with my wife and my son and my family and everybody back home. And all that we have been through, there's some light at the end of the tunnel.โ€

With this win Grace is now eligible for the 2021 PLAYERS Championship, the PGA Championship, invitational events such as the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Memorial Tournament, the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions, and is exempt through 2022-23.

Jhonattan Vegas, who shot a course-record 62 in his last appearance in Puerto Rico, closed with a 65 to take second place at 18-under.

โ€œI shot 5-under on the front nine, which was exactly what I needed to do, and I birdied 10 and 12, which was absolutely perfect,โ€ said Vegas. โ€œOverall, it was a solid day. I wish I had played the final four holes a little bit better. That's where it is."

54-hole leader Rafael Campos and Grayson Murray each shot 70 and tied for third at 16-under.

It was the third top-10 result, and his highest finish, for local favourite Campos.

โ€œI really felt comfortable,โ€ said Campos. โ€œI really liked it. It was unfortunate, the key on this course is try to get off to a good startโ€ฆ I just didn't do it. I haven't been in this position this far into the tournament, but I felt extremely comfortable.โ€

โ€œI can seal the deal. I know I can. It just didn't happen today. I didn't have my best game out here, but I still managed to give myself a real opportunity of winning the tournament. I think it's just getting myself more opportunities and it will happen eventually.โ€
