“I played great. Only missed the last hole, so that’s not a big deal,” said the Korean player. “So I play pretty much 35 holes really decent. So I’m not going to worry about the last hole for tomorrow.
“I kind of like pulled the tee shot, so kind of like a little tough angle for me, especially to that pin. But it wasn’t bad.
“Even second shot, I hit it perfectly. I thought it went more. I hit it Thursday, Friday, Saturday, same spot. Hopefully tomorrow I can hit it on the green.
“I’m in a good position. I’ve been playing good. Especially iron play is really good for this week. Yeah, just one more day left.”
Kim holds the 54-hole lead/co-lead for the sixth time on the PGA Tour and first since the 2023 Memorial Tournament where he finished 4th. He is 2-for-5 in converting to victory (2016 Wyndham Championship, 2021 American Express).
Kim has won our times in 281 starts, at the 2016 Wyndham Championship, 2017 Players Championship, 2021 American Express and 2023 Sony Open in Hawaii.
He is making his 12th start of the season, with a 12th place finish at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am the best of four top-25 finishes.

Two weeks after earning his fourth career title at the Valero Texas Open, American Brian Harman trails by three in a share of fifth place at 12-under. He made his Tour debut 20 years ago at the 2004 RBC Heritage (MC) as a 17-year-old and the reigning U.S. Junior Amateur champion.
Sharing fifth place is England’s Tommy Fleetwood who seeks a first win in his 153rd start and owns five runner-up finishes, most recently at the2023 RBC Canadian Open where he lost the playoff.
World No. 1 and defending champion Scottie Scheffler of the USA trails by four in T7 in his bid for a third successful title defense (2023 WM Phoenix Open, 2024 Players Championship).
