The popular venue in Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan has teamed up with County Sligo Golf Club, Donegal Golf Club and Strandhill Golf Club to launch the PGA National Ireland West Coast Links Tour’.

Based at PGA National Ireland, the exciting new 2020 breaks are available to golf groups of eight or more people and offer access to four outstanding 18-hole championship courses – three links and one parkland – with all four venues regularly ranked inside Ireland’s top 50 courses.

Prices start from €365 per person for two nights’ bed-and-breakfast and three rounds of golf, while seven-night unlimited golf experiences are bookable from €1,731 per person. All tour packages include four-star bed-and-breakfast hotel accommodation at PGA National Ireland.

Set just 90 minutes from Dublin and two hours from Belfast, PGA National Ireland’s championship course is regarded among Ireland’s finest parkland layouts and, as well as hosting two European Tour events, was ranked number one in Ulster in 2018.

Barely an hour’s drive away, County Sligo Golf Club – which is also known as Rosses Point – was designed by Harry Colt and is rated as one of Ireland’s best links courses. Home of the West of Ireland Amateur Championship, it has staged numerous high-profile tournaments including this year’s Irish Open Amateur Championship.

Celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2019, Donegal’s par-73 layout offers magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean and Donegal Bay and has been described by some people as the ‘Muirfield of Ireland’, while Strandhill’s attractive par-70 course is regarded as being the epitome of golf along Ireland’s stunning Wild Atlantic Way.

Situated in the glorious setting of Ballyconnell in County Cavan, is one of only a handful of facilities around the world to be endorsed by The PGA after being rebranded as ‘PGA National Ireland’ earlier this year.

Complementing the golf course is a 222-bedroom, four-star hotel; an award-winning Ciuin Spa; and an outstanding golf academy where resident head PGA professional Gordon Smyth and his team is available with expert tuition, state-of-the-art video analysis and training programmes to help golfers of all abilities achieve their goals.
