Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed R2
Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

Local favourite Sebastian Söderberg followed up his opening bogey-free 63 with a bogey-free 66 featuring an eagle at the par-5 6th to reach 15-under and increase his lead to three shots at the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed.

"It was quite different to yesterday. I had a stretch in the middle for eight or nine holes where it felt like I was saving par on every hole. But I played really well the last seven or eight holes.

"The putting was still solid. Obviously the short game, getting up and down on these greens [was key].

"It looks a lot more steady than it is on the inside. I just try and stay as neutral as possible. You’re always going to have some ups and downs, pulse-wise. Just got to try and stay calm for the rest of the week."

The Swede has been on form this season, making the cut in each of his eleven starts and finishing in the top-10 six times.

Scotland's Scott Jamieson made a single bogey to close with a 65 and enter the weekend in second place at 12-under.

France's Julien Guerrier eagled the par-5 6th and closed with a bogey-free 64 to take third place at 11-under.

Three Swedes, including the Ladies European Tour's Linn Grant who won the event in 2022, are tied in fourth place at 9-under alongside Spain's Jorge Campillo.

The Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed field consists of 78 men and 78 women who play in the same groups for one prize fund and one trophy.
