Keegan Bradley carded a final-round 68 to reach 15-under and win the Zozo Championship by one shot in spite of bogeying two of his final five holes.
“I knew it wasn’t going to be easy, that two-putt on 16 was major,” said the American. “Things aren’t easy for me normally, so I was ready. That birdie on 17 goes down as one of the best holes of my life. This is so special. I played in the final group here when Tiger won and I got to watch him do that. I’m so proud to be win this tournament. Thank you, Japan and ZOZO, just a first-class event and golf course.”
This was his fifth PGA Tour title but his first since the 2018 BMW Championship.
“I really put a lot of work in this offseason. You know, this is what I want to do, I want to win tournaments, I want to play in Ryder Cups, I want to be in the conversation and this is a good start.”
Overnight leader Rickie Fowler closed with a 70 for a share of second place at 14-under alongside fellow American Andrew Putnam who shot a 68.
Argentinian Emiliano Grillo finished in solo fourth place at 13-under.
Norwegian Viktor Hovland signed for a 69 and a share of fifth place at 12-under alongside Americans Hayden Buckley (68) and Sahith Theegala (67).
