Motocaddy launches the ‘Flightsafe’ flight cover

Exclusive flight bag headlines more than 30 game-enhancing accessories

Motocaddy has launched an innovative new flight cover design as part of an expansive range of more than 30 game-enhancing accessories available for golfers to use alongside the brand’s trolleys and bags this year.

The new premium Motocaddy Flightsafe Flight Cover offers golfers unrivalled club protection during transit, thanks to thick-cushioned padding and a reinforced detachable sleeve that secures around the top of the golf bag to help protect the clubheads and most fragile part of the shafts. The innovative design enables the Flightsafe cover to fold down into a compact cube shape for easy storage, with the reinforced sleeve doubling-up as a convenient carry and storage case. An easily accessible front pocket provides a useful extra travel feature, while six smooth-rolling wheels, and five well-positioned handles aid transportation.

The Flightsafe came about as a result of Motocaddy CEO John Helas discovering that his driver was broken following a long-haul flight. “I pulled my headcover off on the first tee and the head went one way and the shaft was just left hanging,” said John. “Several people I spoke to about it had the same story. So, instead of having to take the heads off clubs for safe travel, we developed the Flightsafe. We’re delighted with the result, as travelling golfers can now avoid their golf trip being ruined by broken clubs!” he added.

The Flightsafe Flight Cover is made from strong, durable Nylon and is available now at an RRP of £199.99/€229.99.

Other new accessories for this year include an S-Series Travel Cover (RRP £44.99/€54.99) made from a strong, lightweight, durable nylon material that keeps the car boot clean and free from dirt. Compatible with the latest 28V S-Series models – including the recently launched S5 GPS, it also helps to protect the trolley from damage during transportation and includes three conveniently placed grab handles to ease lifting in and out of the car boot. It joins a number of existing travel covers compatible with other Motocaddy trolley models.

Also new is the GPS Screen Guard (£14.99/€19.99) that attaches to any Motocaddy GPS trolley screen and provides additional protection for transportation and during use, plus a new Deluxe Shoe Bag (£19.99/€22.99) providing a practical solution for travelling with and storing golf shoes.

A range of other popular accessories that aid golfers on the fairways are also available, including the convenient Accessory Station (£12.99/€16.99) that allows up to four additional accessories to be fitted to any trolley – a Scorecard Holder (£24.99/€32.99), Drinks Holder (£19.99/€22.99), Device Cradle and Umbrella Holder (both £29.99/€37.99).

The award-winning PRO 3000 Laser Rangefinder (RRP £269.99/€329.99) is the ultimate accessory for any golfer wanting pinpoint distances. Quick, accurate and easy to use, the PRO 3000 Laser offers a range of 1300 yards, accuracy to less than a yard and classleading 7X magnification. It also offers cutting-edge PinLock technology with vibration and visual confirmation, ensuring golfers can trust the distance and better prepare for the next shot.

Designed specifically for use with golf trolleys, the ever-popular Clearview Umbrella (£49.99/€59.99) is 65mm longer in length than a standard golfing umbrella and features effective clear viewing panels that are perfect when on the move in the rain. An auto open mechanism allows quick access when wet weather comes in fast.

Manufactured from impact resistant Neoprene, the GPS Handle Cover (£19.99/€22.99) is compatible with all Motocaddy GPS trolley models and provides increased protection during storage and transportation. The soft form-fitting material helps to reduce accidental scratches and knocks to the touchscreen. A secure Velcro latch ensures the cover is simple to attach and remove from the trolley handle. When not in use, the cover’s small and lightweight material means it can be easily stored inside your golf bag during a round.

Developed in conjunction with Hedgehog Golf™, the Motocaddy Winter Wheels (£89.99/€109.99) continue to be a must-have accessory for any golfer wanting to protect the course and maintain play during the winter. The wheels are durable and hard-wearing, reducing turf drag in wet conditions with options available in both S-Series and M-Series categories.

The Motocaddy Hot Mitts (£59.99/€74.99) keep golfers’ hands warm through the winter months. An innovative electric heat layer provides maximum comfort in cold conditions, while an ergonomic fitting and design ensure ultimate trolley control. Enabled to plug straight into the USB charging port on any Motocaddy 28V Electric Trolley, heat is spread within an insulated fleece layer, allowing warmth to be evenly distributed over the hands. A simple centre button controls 3 heat settings, permitting golfers to easily adjust the temperature depending on weather conditions.

“As a team of golfers ourselves, we’ve listened to what other golfers want, to allow us to produce this comprehensive range of premium accessories – from travel and storage, to screen protection and keeping your hands warm in the winter,” said Motocaddy Marketing Director Oliver Churcher. “We’ll continue to work hard to develop new accessories that will enhance the experience of our customers and let them play more golf, for longer,” he added.
