Alexander Björk signed for a second-round, bogey-free 66 to take a one-shot lead at 13-under at the halfway mark of the D+D Real Czech Masters.
“It feels good. I had a solid day today as well. Swing felt really good all day,” said the Swede. “Started really good then we got a little break; you never know what’s going to happen after that but I was able to continue the good feeling I had from the start. It was a solid round.
“I had a few putts just before the turn that didn’t drop. But I managed to stay patient and a few rolled in. It’s always nice to be bogey-free. That shows that the long game has been really good.”
Denmark’s Nicolai Højgaard took the early lead at 12-under after carding a bogey-free 67 before play was delayed for 71 minutes due to the weather.
England’s Matt Wallace surged into contention after firing a flawless 63 featuring an eagle at the par-4 6th for a share of third place at 11-under alongside overnight leader Sami Välimäki of Finland, who made three birdies and a bogey for a 70.
