David Ravetto shot a bogey-free 63 featuring an eagle at the par-5 15h to take a one-shot lead at 13-under at the D+D REAL Czech Masters.
“I feel really good,” said the Frenchman. “I’ve been playing really good the last few weeks practising and today was just a perfect round. The putts fell in and I couldn’t ask for more.
“My main focus this week is to enjoy it so obviously leading the tournament after two days, I’m enjoying it right now and I feel comfortable. I’m just going to try to enjoy myself and we’ll see where it goes.”
England’s Andew Johnston also scored a 63 in spite of a bogey at the par-4 14th and lies in a share of second place at 12-under alongside Scotland’s Richie Ramsay and Sweden’s Jesper Svensson who both scored 67s.
“I mean, it’s such a strange game, isn’t it?” said Johnston. “We’ve had a break, but the weeks before I’ve played well and holed absolutely nothing.
“And then obviously everything’s gone in today and it just sums up golf.”
Brandon Robinson Thompson carded a 68 for a share of fifth place at 11-under alongside Norway’s Espen Kofstad.
