Known as the “Festival of Golf”, the BMW PGA Championship kicks off with practice day on Tuesday, 9th September, followed by the ever-popular Celebrity Pro-Am on the 10th. Round 1 then commences on Thursday, 11th September, with the tournament coming to its conclusion on Sunday, 14th.
The Celebrity Pro-Am has become a highlight of this popular 6-day golf event hosted at Wentworth.
The first celebrity golfers announced to take part are tennis royalty, Sir Andy Murray, England Test Cricket Captain, Ben Stokes and Chelsea football team’s most decorated captain, John Terry.

With the likes of defending champion, Billy Horschel, five-time Major Champion and career Grand Slam winner Rory McIlroy, and European Ryder Cup stars Ludvig Åberg, Tommy Fleetwood, and Shane Lowry already confirmed, the BMW PGA Championship is hotting up to be a “must watch” event.

Former World Number Ones and Major Champions Justin Rose and Adam Scott, and two-time PGA TOUR winner and Ryder Cup player Robert MacIntyre, will also be vying for the trophy at this DP World Tour event held at the prestigious Wentworth Club, just an hour from Central London.
