A New 19th Hole: Thailand’s Longest Beach Club Opens at Laguna Phuket

Thailand’s longest beach club has opened at Laguna Phuket, offering barefoot glamour, stunning sunsets, and the perfect 19th hole for golfers at Laguna Golf Phuket.

There’s a new spot to watch the sun sink into the Andaman Sea, cocktail in hand. Laguna Phuket has officially unveiled Rava Beach Club, a luxurious, laid-back hangout with 180 metres of uninterrupted Bang Tao Bay shoreline, and some of the best sunsets you’ll find on the island.

Designed to blend seamlessly with its surroundings, Rava Beach Club is all open-air dining, sea-facing loungers and a soundtrack of live music and curated events. The vibe is barefoot glamour, the sort of place where you can go from a relaxed lunch to an elegant evening without missing a beat.

For golfers, it’s the perfect 19th hole. Laguna Golf Phuket, the island’s premier 18-hole, par-71 course, winds its way through the Banyan Tree Phuket grounds, stretching 6,756 yards of palm-lined fairways, shimmering lagoons and slick greens, making it as scenic as it is challenging. Now, with Rava Beach Club just a stone’s throw away, post-round celebrations have never looked better, from a cold drink by the pool and live music to an evening dinner overlooking the bay.

Managed by the team at Banyan Tree Phuket, Rava Beach Club is split into three distinct areas. The Young & Fun section is the buzzing social hub, with an outdoor dining space, sun loungers, cabanas and three infinity pools serving everything from sharing plates to inventive cocktails, premium wines and top-shelf spirits. It’s also where families can jump into water sports like kayaking and paddleboarding.

For food lovers, The Master Grill takes centre stage with premium cuts of dry-aged meat, whole grilled seafood and all the classic sides, a cosy space dedicated to the art of cooking over fire. Then there’s The Prestige, a private lounge exclusively for Banyan Group Residence owners, with indoor dining rooms, semi-private nooks, dedicated daybeds, and its own infinity pool.

“The debut of the Rava Beach Club marks a significant milestone for Laguna Phuket and represents an exciting expansion for the Banyan Group into the beach club scene. We are redefining the beach club scene on the island with this sophisticated oasis, which combines luxury, a vibrant atmosphere and distinctive experiences, all complemented by stunning views and architectural brilliance. The launch of Rava Beach Club caters to the diverse tastes of our guests and significantly enhances our leisure and entertainment offerings as a resort destination,” said Paul Wilson, Managing Director, Laguna Phuket.

Laguna Phuket is home to six hotels and resorts, and boasts the region’s only PGA golf academy. Just 25 minutes from Phuket International Airport, it’s an easy escape where white-sand beaches, lush scenery and world-class facilities meet.
