18-hole leader Team Kuchar (Matt & Cameron) carded fourteen birdies and two eagles at the par-5s 3rd and 18th to eclipse the PNC Championship records for the 36-hole score (111), the 18-hole score (54) and margin of victory (7) en route to winning the event for the first time.
They earned their first win at the PNC Championship in seven starts (four with Cameron). Their previous best finish was T5 (three times: 2020, 2022, 2023).
“This is something we’ve been — had our sights on for many years, since Cameron got started, I played my first year with Dad, he has some great memories. The classic memories of Dad, and Cameron was caddying and we were just shy of the green in two, close to the water’s edge, and his chipping was never his strong suit and he completely whiffed the chip. I don’t think Cameron could see all the way down the hill. Dad is smiling from above.
“Cameron also knew he had a runway in this event. Cameron and Carson have been great partners. Cam and I have had each chances each year Cam had played, and come close. Some of those were frustrating not to play better on Sunday but man, this Sunday, I don’t know that it could have gone any better.”
Team Kuchar becomes the 10th wire-to-wire winner in PNC Championship history with Team Cabrera the most recent in 2017.
47-year-old Matt Kuchar is a nine-time winner on the PGA Tour, including the 2012 Players Championship. 18-year-old Cameron signed a National Letter of Intent on November 12 to play collegiate golf at Texas Christian University, starting in the fall of 2026.
“That was amazing,” said Cameron. “I wasn’t keeping as much track today as I was yesterday but I probably made five or six solo birdies. Every now and then, I would let him know, all right, I made that one myself. But he also made a few solos and he’d come right back and he’d go, “That was all me right there.”
Two-time champion (2012, 2018) Team Love (Davis & Dru) finished T2 at 26-under after carding 58 in the final round. This is Team Love’s fourth runner-up finish at the PNC Championship in nine appearances (2008, 2014, 2015, 2025).
2021 champion Team Daly (John & John II), who led the field in eagles this week (4) including two on Sunday at the 3rd and 18th, finished T2 after shooting 59 for the second consecutive day. This is Team Daly’s third runner-up finish in 10 appearances at this
event (2018, 2022, 2025).
Team Kuchar and Team Daly (John/John II) became the fourth and fifth teams in the 28-year history of the PNC Championship to post two sub-60 scores. Previous instances were Team Singh/2022 (59-59), Team Langer/2024 (59-57) and Team Woods/2024 (59-57).
Team Korda (Nelly & Petr) also eagled the 3rd and 18th and finished T4 at 25-under after shooting 59 on Sunday. This is Team Korda’s low 36-hole score at this event (119) and best finish (T4) in five appearances.
Team Stricker (Steve & Izzi) closed with an eagle and earned their best finish at the PNC Championship (T4) and best 36-hole score (119) in three appearances.
Two-time defending champion Team Langer (Bernhard & Jason) closed with 60 to finish T7 at 23-under. Team Langer holds the record for most wins in PNC Championship history (6).
The PNC Championship is a two-day, 36-hole tournament that uses a two-person team Scramble format.
A member of each of the 20 teams holds at least one major title (PGA Tour, LPGA or PGA Tour Champions) or The Players Championship title, while the partner does not hold any playing status on a professional Tour.
