Husqvarna named Title Partner of the British Masters on the DP World Tour

Husqvarna takes the reins as Title Partner of the British Masters, joining one of the DP World Tour’s standout tournaments.

Husqvarna, a global leader in robotic lawnmowing and part of Husqvarna Group, has signed a multi-year agreement to become the new Title Partner of the British Masters, one of the DP World Tour’s most popular events. The 2026 Husqvarna British Masters will be played at The Belfry, returning to the iconic Brabazon Course in England. As part of the wider partnership, Husqvarna will also become the Official Robotic Mowing Partner of the DP World Tour.

With its robotic mowers already delivering world-class results at more than 1,700 golf courses globally, golf provides the ideal platform to showcase Husqvarna’s technology at its very best.

“Golf is the perfect stage to demonstrate the performance of Husqvarna’s robotic lawnmowers,” said Yvette Henshall-Bell, President Europe BU Husqvarna Forest & Garden Division, Husqvarna Group. “This partnership reflects a shared ambition to rethink golf course maintenance and move it confidently into a new era.”

First played in 1946, the British Masters boasts a rich and storied past, with champions including Peter Thomson, Tony Jacklin, Bernhard Langer, Ian Woosnam, Seve Ballesteros, Sir Nick Faldo, Colin Montgomerie and Sweden’s Alex Noren, who claimed the title in 2025. Six-time major champion Sir Nick Faldo, also a Brand Ambassador, will return as host when the tournament is staged in 2026.

“As a former champion, it’s a tournament that means a great deal to me,” said Faldo. “The British Masters is entering an exciting new chapter with Husqvarna on board. I’m a huge fan of their products, and next August they’ll be out in force at The Belfry, making sure the Brabazon Course is presented exactly as it should be.”

The agreement also sees the company step up as an Official Marketing Partner of the DP World Tour in 2026, building on a successful collaboration in 2025. Next season, Husqvarna will serve as Official Tournament Partner of the British Masters and the Amgen Irish Open, while also acting as Corporate Partner to the BMW International Open, KLM Open and FedEx Open de France. Across the season, Husqvarna will showcase its products through DP World Tour channels and work closely with greenkeepers and course managers to deliver consistently high standards on tournament courses.

The partnership follows a landmark moment earlier this year at the AIG Women’s Open at Royal Porthcawl in Wales, where 15 Husqvarna CEORA robotic mowers maintained all 18 fairways throughout the championship, the first time robotic mowers have been used to maintain fairways live on the world golf stage.
