LA VIE Country Club launches new era in Oman
A new era for golf in Oman is about to unfold as LA VIE prepares to officially open its reimagined country club this spring, signalling an ambitious shift toward a more integrated lifestyle destination.
Previously operating as LA VIE Club, the venue has undergone a full transformation into LA VIE Country Club, combining championship golf with hospitality, wellness and dining. The development sits within the Tivoli LA VIE Muscat Hotel & Residences and is managed by Troon Golf, with ownership under Oman Real Estate Investment and Services.
A new benchmark for golf and leisure
The upgraded clubhouse stands at the centre of the project, designed to serve as a vibrant social hub for ACCESS members, guests and the wider community. It features a modern golf retail space, premium locker facilities, a swimming pool and a gym, alongside six distinct dining concepts.
Among the standout additions is the SEEN Rooftop Restaurant & Bar, marking the sixth global location of Oliver da Costa’s celebrated brand, offering sweeping views across the course. A sports gastro-pub further adds to the appeal, positioned as an all-day venue welcoming both golfers and non-golfers. For more premium destinations like this, explore Golf Today’s lifestyle page.
Nasser Al Shibli, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Real Estate Investment and Services, said:
“This rebrand to LA VIE Country Club reflects a broader vision. We are not simply opening a clubhouse; we are introducing a lifestyle destination that integrates golf, hospitality, wellness and social connection. This represents the first step in positioning LA VIE Country Club as a reference point for premium leisure in Oman.”

LA VIE Country Club targets global golf travellers
In a move aimed at boosting international appeal, the club will introduce stay-and-play packages for the first time. Visitors will be able to stay on-site and access the course directly, an offering expected to strengthen Oman’s position on the regional golf tourism map.
Clinton Norris, Director of Sales and Marketing at Troon International, added:
“Golf travellers today are looking for more than just a great course. By allowing guests to stay on site, step directly onto the fairways and enjoy a full lifestyle offering beyond the game, LA VIE Country Club is setting itself apart in the regional market.”
Membership and operations
For local players, the refreshed ACCESS LA VIE programme will introduce new membership tiers across Silver, Gold and Platinum levels, offering varying benefits that cater to different playing habits and lifestyles.
Day-to-day operations will be overseen by Golf Operations Manager Josh Legge, a Canadian PGA Professional tasked with maintaining Troon Golf’s globally recognised service standards.
Legge commented:
“The opening of LA VIE Country Club is an exciting moment for both our golfers and our team. The facilities, the setting and the integrated lifestyle offering give us a unique platform to deliver a modern golf experience that resonates with local players and travelling golfers alike.”
With its launch set for spring, LA VIE Country Club is positioning itself as more than just a golf venue. It arrives as a polished and forward-looking destination that blends sport with leisure, setting a confident tone for the future of golf in Oman.
