The Dalaman Golf Club will open on Sunday, August 30, introducing the first golf course on Türkiye’s Dalaman Coast and a new championship option within 20 minutes of Dalaman International Airport.
Managed by Hilton Dalaman Sarıgerme Resort & Golf, the par-72 course measures 6,152 metres, or 6,728 yards, from the back tees. International Design Group created the layout on natural sandy soil beside Mediterranean beaches, lakes and varied coastal vegetation.
The opening will expand Türkiye’s golf offering beyond its established destinations while giving visiting golfers direct access to a five-star resort that has operated in Sarıgerme since 2009.

A coastal championship layout
The course has been designed around a site that provides habitat and stopping points for migratory birds. Its holes will offer open views towards the Mediterranean, with water, elevation changes and protected natural areas influencing play.
The par-five 15th is expected to be one of the defining holes. It begins with a 25-metre drop from the tee, while a nature reserve borders one side of the fairway and a lake protects the other.
Practice facilities will include a 20-bay driving range, with TrackMan Range technology installed in ten bays. Golfers will also have access to a putting green and short-game area, while the clubhouse facilities will include a restaurant and halfway house.
Umit Yasar Atalay, general manager at Hilton Dalaman Sarıgerme Resort & Golf, said golf would help the region attract visitors beyond its traditional summer season.
“Introducing championship golf at this stage is a natural evolution. Golf will help extend the tourism season, attract a new high-value visitor segment and create year-round economic benefits for the destination. We believe the timing is ideal to establish Dalaman as Türkiye’s next major golf destination.”

Golf beside the Hilton resort
The adjacent Hilton Dalaman Sarıgerme Resort & Golf occupies 74 acres of landscaped grounds near the Dalaman River, at the meeting point of the Aegean and Mediterranean seas. Its location allows guests to move directly between the accommodation and golf course.
The resort has 550 rooms, suites and Lake House suites. Selected accommodation includes private plunge pools, saunas or direct water access, while the ultra-all-inclusive offering covers buffet and à la carte dining across several venues.
Away from the course, guests have access to ten pools, two seasonal waterparks and a 650-metre private sandy beach. The Elysion Spa contains 18 treatment rooms, Turkish bath facilities, saunas and a relaxation pool. Tennis, fitness facilities and water sports are also available.
Atalay said, “With the golf course located adjacent to and managed by Hilton Dalaman Sarigerme Resort & Golf, guests will be able to enjoy a seamless experience between the course and the resort.”
The Dalaman Golf Club will welcome its first players on August 30.
