The Aramco Korea Championship will return to New Korea Country Club in Seoul from October 8–11 with a new four-day individual format.
The Ladies European Tour event, staged as part of the PIF Global Series, will feature 72 holes of strokeplay and a $2 million prize fund. Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking points will also be available.
Team competition removed
The 2026 championship will no longer include the team element used last year. In 2025, the tournament combined a 54-hole individual competition with a separate team contest, splitting its $2 million purse between the two events.
This year’s full programme will instead centre on four rounds of individual strokeplay. The field will be reduced to 60 players and ties before the final round, according to the tournament event page.
A 108-player field is planned, with Major winners and leading LET Order of Merit contenders expected to compete. The wider entry list has yet to be announced.
Major champion Danielle Kang, a six-time LPGA winner, and two-time LET winner Alison Lee are the first confirmed players. Both Korean American golfers are Golf Saudi Ambassadors, while Lee has also represented the United States in the Solheim Cup.
“Playing at New Korea Country Club is always a standout week on my tour schedule,” Kang said. “Korean golf fans bring an energy and golf IQ you simply do not find anywhere else. Moving to a 72-hole individual strokeplay test raises the competitive bar for all of us, and I cannot wait to get back out there and play in front of these crowds.”
Lee said competing in Korea was personally meaningful to her and that the four-day format would provide a tougher test at New Korea Country Club.
Hyo Joo Kim won again in 2025
The championship returns to the course at the base of Bukhansan Mountain after Hyo Joo Kim defended her title there in 2025.
Kim shot 69 in the final round and ended on seven under par, finishing two shots ahead of Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini. The victory was the South Korean’s 25th professional title and her second consecutive win at New Korea Country Club.
Team Kouskova won the accompanying 2025 team competition at 21 under par. That side featured Klara Kouskova, Lee-Anne Pace, Maria Navarrosa and Alexandra Schmidt.
Tickets and tournament village
KOLON Group returns as host partner, while the expanded tournament village will include a fan zone, business and women’s sport panels, and tourism activities.
General admission begins at KRW 15,000. Spectators aged 16 and under can enter free when accompanied by an adult holding a ticket.
