Four-time KLPGA winner Hee Jong Lim carded a bogey-free 65 to take a four-shot lead at 18-under. Lim is the only player to remain bogey-free after three rounds and her 198 total is the new BMW Ladies Championship 54-hole record, beating the 203 set by Somi Lee and Seung Yeon Lee in last year’s event.

“I think recently there was an event where I had one bogey-free round. But three consecutive bogey-free rounds I think is a first time for me.”
Lim missed her first fairway of the week on Saturday at the 11th but still managed a birdie.
“I wasn’t necessarily aware of the fact that that was the first fairway that I missed during this event. But I’m not really used to missing the fairway. I usually keep the fairway pretty well, ” said Lim. “So being in the rough itself was a bit awkward I would have to say. ”

World No. 2 Jin Young Ko and KLPGA winner Na Rin An share second place at 14-under. After breaking her streak of rounds in the 60s in the opening round, Ko followed up Friday’s 64 with another bogey-free round for a 67. A win on Sunday would secure her the Leaders Top 10 competition and she would be projected to move to number 1 ahead of American Nelly Korda.
“I think I have to stay in the present, not try to worry too much about the future. And I think that if I can do that and if I have a little bit of luck, I can perhaps go even lower than 64,” said Ko.

Fellow South Korean Hae Ran Ryu shares fourth place with American Danielle Kang at 13-under. Ryu had produced eight birdies by the 14th but her momentum was abruptly stopped by a double bogey at the par-5 15th and she closed with a bogey at the 18th for a 67.
Australian Minjee Lee (68) and South Korean In Gee Chun (70) are tied for sixth at 12-under followed by American Alison Lee (67) and Thailan’ds Moriya Jutanugarn (68) in eighth at 11-under.
