Rasmus Højgaard takes a six-shot lead into the weekend after followig up his opening 62 with a 65 on Friday at the Cazoo Open de France.

“The course plays tricky, I just played very good as well today,” said the Dane. “I hit a lot of greens and gave myself some good chances. I kept the bogeys away, more or less, so it’s good.
“I’m not going to change much over the next couple of days. It’s been working fine so far.
“So again, go out there, be patient, see if I can limit the mistakes and make a few birdies.”
He now holds the best 36-hole score to par at this event since hole-by-hole data started.

France’s Paul Barjon carded a 68 to take second place at 9-under followed by South Africa’s George Coetzee in third at 8-under after closing with a 66.
“It was cool to have a lot of fans, even at 7pm, but we have great weather and I think they liked what they saw, so it was fun to have some cheering on the last nine holes,” said Barjon.
“Usually playing that late people are packing and going home because it’s getting late.
“Having a chance to win a tournament but especially your home open would be lovely. That’s still the goal, to show up on Sunday on the back nine and have a chance to win.”
Frenchman Antoine Rozner also shot 66 for a share of fourth place at 7-under alongside Sweden’s Alexander Björk who shot 71.
