Si Woo Kim and Tom Kim defeated the seemingly unbeatable Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele 1 up in the four-ball after 20-year-old Tom closed with a final birdie putt.
“I have my team around me, and they were looking over, and I wanted that putt more than any in the world. I took heart to it. I had my partner all day, and he made some clutch shots,” said Tom Kim.
“We kept positive and I knew Tom was a really good putter. I believe in him. I kept trusting him. We did it. We beat the pressure,” said Si Woo Kim.
