Presidents Cup Day 3

International Team fights back but USA still leading

Team USA dominated the first two days of the Presidents Cup but on Saturday the International Team fought back to enter the Singles with just a four point deficit.

Si Woo Kim and Tom Kim defeated the seemingly unbeatable Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele 1 up in the four-ball after 20-year-old Tom closed with a final birdie putt.

“I have my team around me, and they were looking over, and I wanted that putt more than any in the world. I took heart to it. I had my partner all day, and he made some clutch shots,” said Tom Kim.

“We kept positive and I knew Tom was a really good putter. I believe in him. I kept trusting him. We did it. We beat the pressure,” said Si Woo Kim.

Jordan Spieth, the most experienced US player this year after missing out on the team three years ago in Australia, is undefeated so far this week.
