Chez Reavie increased his lead to six points with a third round that featured five birdies and a single bogey for a 37 points total.


Barracuda Championship 2022 R3

The Barracuda Championship, sanctionned by the DP World Tour and the PGA Tour, is played using a modified Stableford scoring system. Players receive eight points for albatross, five for eagle and two for birdie. A point is deducted for bogey and three taken away for double bogey or worse.

“I hit the ball really well today for most of the day,” said the American. “Didn’t really make many putts, had a lot of good looks and fortunately made a few in the middle. Hit some bad shots coming in and was able to save some pars. Wasn’t quite all together today, but did everything well at different times.”

Scot Martin Laird scored 13 points for a total of 31 to move into solo second place.

Swede Alex Noren and Australian Cam Davis both scored 12 points to reach 28 for a share of third place.

They are followed by fellow Swede Henrik Norlander who added two points on Saturday for a total of 27 and a share of fifth place with American Brice Garnett who scored 10.
