3 top names qualify for 153rd Open Championship at RBC Canadian Open

Ryan Fox claims victory at the 2025 RBC Canadian Open over Sam Burns. With both Fox and Burns already qualified for the 153rd Open Championship, three more players secured their spot.

Kevin Yu, Matt McCarty and Cameron Young have qualified for The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush through the RBC Canadian Open securing a place each from the available at this event.

Yu claimed the first qualifying place after finishing third behind  Sam Burns and Ryan Fox (who were already exempt) on 17-under-par 263, one stroke ahead of both McCarty and Young who were tied fourth on 16-under-par 264.

The next event in the Open Qualifying Series is the Italian Open being played at Argentario Golf Club from 26-29 June.rush through the RBC Canadian Open.
