Richie Ramsay carded a final round 69 to reach 14-under and win his first DP World tour title in seven years.

“It just feels unbelievable,” said the Scot. “The belief. I’ve had some bad times over the last couple of years but I kept believing, I knew my game was good.

“There’s nothing better than holing a putt under the gun – when it matters, when the tournament is on the line.”

“It’s just hours and hours of practice and it comes down to one shot and I managed to do it under the gun. It doesn’t matter what happens now, I’ll remember that for the rest of my life.”

Englishman Paul Waring closed with a 70 to finish second at 13-under.

Overnight leader Julien Guerrier of France carded a 70 after three birdies on the front nine and three bogeys on the back nine, finishing in a tie for third place at 12-under.

Tied alongside Guerrier were Swedes Marcus Kinhult (67) and Robin Petersson (68) as well as Scot Grant Forrest (70) and the Netherlands’ Daan Huizing (69).
