Golfers hiring their clubs through leading golf club rental company Clubs to Hire can now be rewarded with money off their next set, thanks to a new loyalty scheme.

The Dublin-based company has launched a points-based loyalty system based on the value of the golfer’s booking. The loyalty points earned can then be used against future bookings and purchases.

Clubs to Hire gives golfers the opportunity to play with some of the best clubs on the market, offering the latest clubs from some of golf’s leading brands, including PXG, TaylorMade, Ping, Callaway, Titleist, Mizuno and Wilson Staff.

Available in 25 popular golfing regions around the globe, the company removes the hassle of taking golf clubs abroad by renting sets from just €40 per week – often less than airlines will charge to take clubs on a flight.

The loyalty scheme is available to all members – registration to which is available during the booking process – and can be redeemed at any point, so golfers have the option to build up their points to a potential free hire in the future.

The attractive scheme, which has already given 65,000 clients free loyalty points for past business, also allows members to adjust their bookings and receive bonus points for activating an account. There is no tiered system, meaning members get rewarded immediately.

Clubs to Hire founder Tony Judge said: “We have a lot of repeat business and most of our customers are extremely loyal and will use Clubs to Hire for all of their golf trips.

“Once people use Clubs to Hire, they rarely go back to bringing their own clubs, as they often get better and more up-to-date clubs when hiring through us and it’s just as cost effective. We have been exploring ways to reward and thank our regular customers for some time now and this new loyalty scheme will benefit a lot of golfers who frequently travel abroad to play.”

Group bookings will also be rewarded through the new loyalty scheme – with free sets, free golf balls and the latest TaylorMade holdalls available as prizes for the group.

Launched in 2010, Clubs to Hire will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year, and the company has grown from strength to strength. It now handles more than 300,000 annual visits to its website and more than 60,000 bookings for rental clubs at 25 locations worldwide, including popular golfing regions in the USA, Thailand, Australia, South Africa and five countries across the Mediterranean.

Clubs are available for left or right-handed men or women and can either be waiting at the airport or delivered directly to the golfer’s hotel. Clients can also add shoe rental, balls, tees and hats to their order.
