- Costa Navarino Golf has agreed an exclusive Continental European partnership with PGA master coach Dan Grieve.
- The first academy runs from October 24 to 31, 2026, with five nights at The Romanos and three rounds of golf.
- Grieve will return for further golf schools and selected private tuition during 2027, with dates still to be announced.
Costa Navarino Golf has partnered with short-game coach Dan Grieve to introduce a programme of teaching academies and events at the Greek destination.
The first academy will run from October 24 to 31, 2026. Its package includes five nights at The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, plus three rounds across any of Costa Navarino’s four signature courses.
Grieve will expand the programme in 2027 by hosting several golf schools for guests. He will also stage his annual invitation-only event in Greece and offer selected private tuition to Costa Navarino residents.

Short-game coaching at Navarino Hills
Grieve is a PGA master coach and short-game specialist whose DG Short Game School is based at Woburn Golf Club. He also wrote the international bestseller 3 Releases: The Short Game System.
His teaching divides short-game technique into three releases, with options for different lies and shots around the green.
Grieve has visited Costa Navarino regularly in recent years and highlighted the variety available within its practice areas.

Grieve will have a branded presence at the Navarino Hills short-game area as part of the partnership.

Four courses across the destination
Costa Navarino’s golf portfolio comprises The Dunes Course, The Bay Course, the International Olympic Academy Golf Course and The Hills Course. The latter two layouts, designed by José María Olazábal, share the practice facilities and clubhouse at Navarino Hills.
The destination’s four-course offering provides contrasting terrain, from the coastal views of The Bay Course to the ravines and elevated ground found at Navarino Hills.
Navarino Hills also staged the 2026 Costa Navarino Legends Tour Trophy, won by Simon Griffiths at 12-under-par after a final-round 67. The tournament used The Hills Course and the International Olympic Academy Golf Course.
Beyond The Romanos, accommodation at the Messinia destination includes The Westin Resort Costa Navarino, W Costa Navarino and Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino. A private villa collection is also available.
