For an unforgettable New Year celebration this year, head to the stunning Italian region of Tuscany and stay in one of the luxury golf villas located in the grounds of the Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort on the exclusive Monte Argentario promontory. Over the New Year period, anyone booking five nights or more in a villa will benefit from a generous 20% discount, so that packages for a five night stay now start from 14,400 euros/US£12,580 (instead of 18,000/UK£15,720) in a Locker or Maremma Cottage villa which accommodate up to six guests.

Argentario’s collection of independent villas is nestled amongst the Mediterranean flora and fauna allowing guests to immerse themselves in the surrounding nature reserve of the Resort. Meanwhile the orientation of the villas up on the hillside ensures tranquil, panoramic views of the golf course, Tyrrhenian Sea and Orbetello Lagoon.

The three and five-bedroomed properties boast stylish interiors equipped with the finest Italian furniture selected by Milan-based interior designer, Andrea Fogli, and extensive terraces, complete  with outdoor hot tubs, are ideal for entertaining and relaxing.

For New Year’s Eve itself, guests can choose between the elegant, fine-dining Dama Dama Restaurant and the comfortable, cosy Club House Restaurant, both of which will both be providing special menus for this all-important night of the year. A heady combination of musical entertainment and fireworks alongside an epicurean experience not to be missed will make for a truly memorable night to welcome in 2023.

What’s more a delicious welcome gift of a handmade Panettone, courtesy of the Resort’s talented Executive Chef Emiliano Lombardelli, awaits in your villa.

For those who prefer the convenience of a hotel, Argentario has the 73 rooms and suites that also offer sleek, modern interiors that are beautifully appointed and focus on comfort, all with private, decked terraces. The striking design of the hotel itself created by its majestic entrance, an imposing central stairway and huge windows overlooking the property are in dramatic contrast to the intense blue Tuscan sky and Mediterranean landscapes whilst combining drama, style and a feeling of proximity to nature.

Alongside its gastronomic offering, Argentario places importance on the wellbeing, both mental and physical, of its guests who can take full advantage of its extensive sports facilities that include tennis and padel courts, mini football pitch, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, outdoor and indoor gyms, jogging trails and a championship golf course that, testament to its quality, was awarded PGA National Italy status by The PGA in 2019. There is also a Kids Club for the little ones.

Beauty and well-being treatments are available in the 2,700 square metre Espace Wellness Centre, which also offers nutrition and naturopathy programmes so all guests can kick off 2023 in the best shape ever: re-energised, relaxed and in good physical shape.

Day trips can easily be organised to medieval villages like Capalbio and Pitigliano and famous art cities like Pisa, Siena and Florence whilst nearby vineyards and olive oil mills can be visited to taste the local produce.

Argentario is easily accessed from Rome Fiumicino Airport by car in just 90 minutes whilst Rome Ciampino and Pisa are just over two hours away.
