Laguna Phuket Launches Stay and Play Golf Packages With Real-Time Online Booking

Laguna Phuket has bundled accommodation at two resort hotels with rounds at its par-71 course, letting golfers book room types and tee times in a single online flow for the first time.

Laguna Phuket has launched Stay & Play packages that pair accommodation at Angsana Laguna Phuket or Cassia Phuket with golf at Laguna Golf Phuket, with the entire booking available online through the resort’s website. The packages went live on 3 July 2026 and are designed to let travellers lock in both lodging and tee times in one transaction.

Golfers select a hotel, choose a room type, and book specific tee times without needing to coordinate separately with the golf club. The technology side of the launch comes through a partnership with Golfscape, the booking platform whose founder said the system allows real-time confirmation of both elements within minutes.

What the Package Includes

Each Stay & Play booking centres on access to Laguna Golf Phuket, an 18-hole, par-71 course surrounded by tropical landscaping, lagoons, and mountain views. The course sits within the wider Laguna Phuket complex and is connected to the hotels by a complimentary shuttle service.

Accommodation is available at two properties inside the resort:

  • Angsana Laguna Phuket, a five-star beachfront hotel with views of Bang Tao Beach, direct beach access, wellness facilities, and multiple restaurants and bars.
  • Cassia Phuket, a contemporary suite-style property overlooking the lagoon, positioned as a more vibrant, modern alternative.

An Angsana package page on the hotel’s own website describes the golf component as a complimentary 18-hole green fee at Laguna Golf Phuket for stays of two nights or more.

Beyond golf, the wider Laguna Phuket complex covers more than 1,000 acres, with parkland and beachfront woven through it. It brings together six hotels and resorts, more than 35 dining and nightlife venues, wellness centres, and a range of recreational activities. The destination is about 25 minutes from Phuket International Airport.

How the Two Hotels Differ

The choice between Angsana and Cassia comes down to style, setting, and budget.

Angsana Laguna Phuket is the full-service five-star option. It fronts directly onto Bang Tao Beach, one of Phuket’s longer and quieter stretches of sand, and offers the kind of resort infrastructure that suits golfers travelling with non-playing partners or families: spa, pool, beach access, and a broad restaurant selection all on site.

At Cassia Phuket, the suite-style rooms face the lagoon rather than the ocean, and the property leans toward a more contemporary, social atmosphere. For golfers who want comfortable self-contained accommodation and plan to spend most of their time on the course or exploring the wider complex, the lagoon-view suites offer a practical base at what is likely a lower price point than the beachfront alternative.

Both hotels sit within the integrated resort area, meaning guests at either property can use facilities across the entire Laguna Phuket complex via the shuttle service.

Why the Booking Model Matters

Golf travel packages are common, though coordinating tee times with hotel bookings has long been a pain point for independent travellers. Group bookings add further complexity. The traditional process often involves emails, phone calls, and manual confirmation from both the hotel and the golf club.

Raghad Mukhaimer, Founder and CEO of Golfscape, said the platform changes that dynamic.

“For the first time in history, individuals and groups can book a golf package online in real time, with specific room types and exact tee times within minutes. This groundbreaking technology transforms what was once a manual, time-consuming process, placing the power of planning directly in the travellers’ hands.”

The practical implication for golfers is that they can see available tee times alongside available rooms before committing, rather than booking one element and hoping the other aligns.

The Golf Course

Laguna Golf Phuket is an 18-hole, par-71 layout set within the resort’s tropical grounds. The course features views of the surrounding mountains and lagoons, and is accessible from the hotel area by the resort’s free shuttle.

The facility also houses the only PGA-branded Golf Academy in Southeast Asia, which adds a practice and tuition dimension for golfers looking to combine competitive rounds with structured coaching.

In 2025, Laguna Phuket retained its place in the Golf World Top 100 World Resorts ranking, a detail that positions the destination within a competitive tier of international golf resorts.

Stephen Chick, General Manager at Laguna Golf Phuket, said the packages reflect the resort’s broader positioning as a golf-and-lifestyle destination.

“Guests can enjoy a morning round of golf, then relax on the beach, indulge in spa treatments, or savour gourmet cuisine at our world-class restaurants. Our Stay & Play packages offer unparalleled flexibility, enabling golfers to tailor their holiday experience according to their preferences.”

Destination Scale

Laguna Phuket’s overall footprint gives the Stay & Play offer a context that smaller standalone golf resorts cannot match. The complex holds more than 1,400 rooms across its six hotels, a 3km stretch of coastline, and the range of dining, wellness, and recreation options that come with an integrated resort of that size.

For golfers planning a trip that needs to work for non-golfers too, the breadth of the complex is a selling point. A partner or family can spend a full day at the beach, pool, or spa without needing a car or leaving the resort grounds, while the golfer takes the shuttle to the course and back.

Booking and Availability

The Stay & Play packages are available to book now through Laguna Phuket’s website. Separate booking paths exist for Angsana Laguna Phuket and Cassia Phuket, with real-time availability for both room types and tee times.
