Rolex Rankings No. 1 and Florida native Nelly Korda signed for a 63 on Saturday to take a share of the lead in the Pelican Women's Championship at 16-under alongside Lexi Thompson who closed with a 65.

“Stay aggressive, as I have been,” said Korda. “I've been hitting it really well and giving myself some good looks, so I'm going to take the same [gameplan] into tomorrow."

Thompson hasn't won since the 2019 ShopRite LPGA Classic and has been hard at work getting her game into shape.

“I've been working extremely hard, putting at least two to three hours a day and putting at night in my house.

“It's the Perfect Practice putting mat, has the bigger hole and a small one with lines on it. It's right in my living room. Just stares at me. So, I'm like, I guess I should putt.”

Jennifer Kupcho lies in solo third place at 15-under after closing with a 66 and will join the leaders in the final group.

Christina Kim and South Korean Sei Young Kim are tied in fourth place at 14-under after both shot 65s followed by Thailand's Patty Tavatanakit and New Zealand's Lydia Ko who shot 64s to reach 13-under .

First round leader Leona Maguire lies in solo eighth place at 12-under after closing with a 68.
