October 15-18
Shadow Creek Golf Course, Las Vegas, Nevada
$9,750,000
Round 2, Round 3, Round 4

Still tired and jet-lagged from twenty hours spent travelling to Nevada, Tyrell Hatton fired a 7-under 65 to take the lead of The CJ Cup @ Shadow Creek.

โ€œIt's fair to say I'm pretty tired at the moment. Today was a long day. Very happy with my score, and I just need to try and get back to the hotel this evening, have a good rest and hopefully sleep better than I did last night and, fingers crossed, for another good day tomorrow.โ€

Xander Schauffele made birdie on the 18th for a 66 and a tie for second alongside Russell Henley.

Rory McIlroy ended his round with bogeys on his last three holes and closed with a 73.

Brooks Koepka, playing in his first competitive round since he withdrew from the FedEx Cup playoffs two months ago because of continuing problems with his knee and hip, opened with a 2-over 74.

โ€œI thought I played a hell of a lot better than the score.โ€

Koepka underwent another round of stem-cell treatment on his knee and received a cortisone shot in his hip for a slight tear in the labrum.

โ€œI feel normal now; I feel like I'm supposed to. This is more for just getting competitive reps for Augusta. That's kind of what this is.โ€
