Talor Gooch signed for a bogey-free 64 on Sunday in the RSM Classic to win his first PGA Tour title by three shots.

“To finish the fall season off like I just did, it's a dream come true.”


RSM Classic 2021 R4

The American is the seventh player to win his first title at Sea Island since the inaugural event in 2010 and tied the tournament record of 22-under 260 set by Kevin Kisner in 2014.

“This gets me into some tournaments I wasn't into. But I want to get to the TOUR Championship and this puts me a little bit ahead of the ballgame for that journey. The goal is to win the TOUR Championship.”


RSM Classic 2021 R4

Former champion Mackenzie Hughes of Canada signed for a 62 to finish second at 19-under followed by Colombian Sebastián Muñoz (65) in third place at 18-under.

“I knew it was going to require a low one today and if you told me I would have shot 62 I thought I might be pretty close,” said Hughes. “But Talor obviously played great this week and deserved to win.”


RSM Classic 2021 R4

Americans Tyler McCumber (60) and Tom Hoge (67) tied for fourth at 15-under alongside Australian Cameron Smith (64), and Irishman Seamus Power (68).

McCumber produced five consecutive birdies from the 4th and eagled the par-5 15th on his way to a bogey-free 60, the second this week following Muñoz on Friday, and tied the course record set in 2012 by Tommy Gainey.
