Which LIV Golfers made the cut at the US Open?

A total of 14 LIV Golfers started the 2025 US Open but how many made the cut at Oakmont?

Oakmont is bearing its teeth as the first two days of the US Open has seen the course play extremely difficult.

Indeed, Sam Burns is leading the tournament at 3-under par and depending on conditions over the weekend, this could score could well drop back towards even.

Big names have struggled. Rory McIlroy shot rounds of 74 and 72 to sit at +6 heading into the weekend. Scottie Scheffler, who won the PGA Championship, sits seven shots off the lead.

LIV Golfers have also struggled at Oakmont, with a total of eight players from the breakaway tour missing the cut.

That leaves just six LIV players playing the weekend at the US Open. Who are they?

Only six LIV Golfers made the cut at the 2025 US Open

Brooks Koepka: +2

Early in his second round, it looked as though Koepka was going to make a charge. The American had shot a 68 in the first round and he reached 2-under par on Friday, before dropping off and shooting a 74.

Nevertheless, he is currently in a tie for eighth and anything can happen over the weekend.

Tyrrell Hatton: +3

The Englishman shot rounds of 73 and 70 to comfortably make the cut at the US Open. He will have some work to do at Oakmont over the weekend to mount a challenge.

Anything is possible with Hatton.

Carlos Ortiz: +3

Ortiz came through final qualifying and has made the most of just his fifth US Open tournament. He heads into the weekend at +3 and is currently only six shots back of the leader.

Jon Rahm: +4

Rahm opened up with an excellent 69 in the first round, but shot 75 on Friday to come crashing back to earth.

Despite this, he still stands a chance of making a challenge for a second US Open crown.

Marc Leishman: +6

Leishman was another who secured his spot at Oakmont via final qualifying and made the cut with a stroke to spare.

This is the first time he has made the cut in a major since the 2022 US Open.

Patrick Reed: +7

Reed finished third at the Masters in April, but he missed the cut at the PGA Championship last month.

Rounds of 73 and 74 saw him make the cut on the number and he will be aiming to go low over the weekend to move up the leaderboard.
